On 06 December 1994 AMPMAS Sdn. Bhd. was formed to take up the business of AMP, but the actual operation only commenced on 01 July 1997 when it moved in to the present factory building with the upgraded facilities.

Process planning for successful plating of delicate barrel or intricate parts requiring racking, begins before the work reaches the production floor. Electroforming and Photo-Chemical Milling are two other specialized services offered by AMPMAS Sdn. Bhd. Copper EDM electrode and spray painting mask are currently two major products produced by electroforming, other form of electroforming are welcome. Photo-chemical etching of metal nameplate formed a very large percentage of AMPMAS’s production.

AMPMAS Sdn. Bhd. is one of the very few companies in Malaysia equipped with the technology in through-hole chemical milling. Base metals for chemical milling are all copper based, ferrous and high nickel alloys.
